About my Practice
In 2014, I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Adams State University in Colorado. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDRIA Certified EMDR counselor. I have continued my education through the ongoing study of multiple counseling approaches to mental health related issues with a focus on the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, and related disorders. Some of my advanced training include: Attachment Focused EMDR with Dr. Laurel Parnell and Emotion Focused Therapy for Individuals with Edwards Psychotherapy.
Costs & Services
I provide individual and group counseling to adults (18+). I offer a sliding scale and my rates range from $70 to $160. During these difficult times, please don’t hesitate to inquire about flexible payment options! *No current groups running.
My approach is strength based and person centered that utilizes a trauma informed perspective emphasizing safety, empowerment, recovery and opportunities to rebuild control. I use an eclectic approach and emphasize your unique strengths. I rely on evidence-based therapy models such as Cognitive Behavioral, Emotion Focused, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy. I use techniques such as bilateral experiencing, distress tolerance skill building, exploring negative beliefs, mind/body connection, meditation and guided imagery to help reduce symptoms while supporting healthy lifestyle changes and improved relationships.
